Amplifier of the gods. Brazilian Rosewood cabinets and wicker face fronts not only make it pretty but give it the warmest tone you could ask for. This amp combo only comes out at the biggest of shows. It's like four amps in one chassis: clean, semi dirty, super dirty, and then an EQ button to overdrive everything. It has an effects loop in the back and a footswitch to turn it off or on, so when I'm not using pedals on a certain song, I can turn off the loop and still be plugged directly into the amp, which is a more direct signal, and that is what you want, the most direct signal. It's like the game "Telephone": pass the message along through too many people and it gets distorted. Steve Kimock gave me this advice and I'm stickin' to it.
